Joseph Tyler Amodeo is a Catholic, political scientist, writer, blogger, and policy researcher living and working in New York City.

His research and writings focus on health policy, disability law, and religion and society. Joseph serves as a contributor for The Huffington Post as well as a number of other online and print periodicals. His academic research in the field of political science has been published in World Medical & Health Policy and presented at conferences including the Law and Society Association’s Annual Meeting and AIDS 2010.
